8-Day in Greece: Athens, Zakynthos & Santorini Tour is planned as a 8 Days / 7 Nights journey linking Athens, Zakynthos , Santorini. The route is designed to combine cultural sightseeing, practical transport connections and time in the principal destinations without compressing the main visits into a single day.
Across the itinerary, the main sightseeing is built around Athens, Acropolis, Olympia, Santorini, Side. Each stop is positioned within the day-by-day route so that the historical, cultural and landscape highlights remain easy to follow from one destination to the next.
Travel logistics are integrated into the program rather than treated as separate arrangements. Depending on the confirmed route, the package includes 4-star hotel accommodation, licensed guided sightseeing, domestic flights, ferry connections. Arrival in Athens
Welcome to Athens! Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the city at your own pace.
Athens Sightseeing & Travel to Zakynthos
(Bus approx. 4.5 hrs + Ferry approx. 1 hr 15 min )
Start your day with a guided tour of Athens, discovering its most iconic landmarks. Highlights include the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, Parliament House, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and Syntagma Square.
Continue with a visit to the legendary Acropolis, one of the world’s most important ancient sites, followed by the Acropolis Museum.
After the tour, travel by bus to the port of Kyllini and board a ferry to Zakynthos. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and overnight stay.
Zakynthos – Shipwreck Beach & Blue Caves Cruise
Enjoy a half-day excursion exploring the natural beauty of Zakynthos. Travel by bus along the scenic coastline to Agios Nikolaos Port.
Board a speedboat and visit the famous Navagio (Shipwreck Beach), one of the most photographed spots in Greece. Continue to the Blue Caves, where sunlight creates stunning reflections in shades of blue, turquoise, and violet.
You’ll have time to swim in crystal-clear waters and possibly spot marine life such as dolphins or seals. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Zakynthos to Athens
(Ferry approx. 1 hr 15 min + Bus approx. 4.5 hrs)
Transfer to the port and take the ferry back to Kyllini. From there, continue by bus to Athens. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Athens to Santorini by Ferry
(Ferry approx. 7 hrs 25 min)
In the morning, transfer to Piraeus Port and board the ferry to Santorini. After arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day discovering the island at your own pace.
Free Day in Santorini
Enjoy a free day on the stunning island of Santorini. Relax on its unique volcanic beaches or take in the breathtaking views of the caldera.
Optional: Join a boat excursion to the volcanic islands of Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni, where you can swim in the famous hot springs.
In the evening, consider dining at a restaurant overlooking the caldera and experience one of the world’s most spectacular sunsets.
Santorini to Athens by Ferry
(Ferry approx. 7 hrs 45 min)
Transfer to the port and return by ferry to Athens. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy your final evening in the Greek capital.
(Note: Fast 45-minute flight upgrades are available if you prefer to skip the evening ferry crossing).
Departure from Athens
Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Athens Airport for your departure. Take home unforgettable memories from your journey through Greece.
