7-Day Turkey Tour: Istanbul, Ephesus, Pamukkale & Cappadocia is planned as a 7 Days / 6 Nights journey linking Destinations. The route is designed to combine cultural sightseeing, practical transport connections and time in the principal destinations without compressing the main visits into a single day.
Across the itinerary, the main sightseeing is built around Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Ephesus, House of the Virgin Mary, Temple of Artemis, Izmir, Pamukkale, Hierapolis, Cappadocia. Each stop is positioned within the day-by-day route so that the historical, cultural and landscape highlights remain easy to follow from one destination to the next.
Travel logistics are integrated into the program rather than treated as separate arrangements. Depending on the confirmed route, the package includes 4-star hotel accommodation, licensed guided sightseeing, private transfers, domestic flights, ferry connections, 6 breakfasts, 4 lunches. Welcome to Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel from the airport or cruise terminal. Check-in is available after 1:00 PM. Your personal travel consultant will meet you to review the itinerary and answer any questions. The rest of the day is yours to relax, wander the streets, or enjoy Istanbul’s vibrant atmosphere.
Istanbul Old City Walking Tour
After breakfast at 10:00 AM, your private guide will take you on a full-day journey through Istanbul’s iconic landmarks. Begin at the Egyptian Obelisk, Byzantine Hippodrome, Serpentine Column, and the Fountain of Wilhelm II. Explore the magnificent Blue Mosque and the world-famous Hagia Sophia Museum. Continue to Topkapi Palace, once home to Ottoman sultans, and finish the day wandering the bustling Grand Bazaar with over 3,600 shops. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
Flight to Izmir and Explore Ancient Ephesus
Start your day with an early breakfast before transferring to Istanbul Airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, head to Selçuk for an unforgettable exploration of Ephesus. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, then wander the ancient streets and marvel at the Celsus Library. After lunch, see the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and visit the charming village of Şirince.
Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour
After breakfast, depart at 7:30 AM for the breathtaking terraces of Pamukkale. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before exploring Hierapolis, an ancient city that includes the Temple of Apollo, Roman theater, necropolis, and thermal baths. Take in the unique white terraces and serene landscapes before returning to Kuşadası for the night.
Flight to Cappadocia
Following breakfast, check out and transfer to Izmir Airport for your flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to the heart of Cappadocia, Göreme. Settle into your hotel and enjoy the magical surroundings.
South Cappadocia Tour
After breakfast, leave your luggage at reception and depart between 9:45–10:00 AM. Visit Ortahisar and photograph the famous Rock Castle, then continue to the historic Greek village of Mustafapaşa. Explore the Roman ruins of Sobesos with its remarkable mosaics, followed by a scenic walk through Soğanlı Valley’s cave churches. Enjoy a local lunch in Soğanlı Village before visiting Kaymaklı Underground City, an ancient subterranean marvel.
Optional: Start your day with a sunrise hot air balloon ride for a breathtaking view over Cappadocia’s landscape.
Northern Cappadocia Highlights and Return to Istanbul
After breakfast, leave your luggage at the hotel reception and begin the North Cappadocia tour. Visit Uçhisar Castle for panoramic views, then explore Çavuşin (Rose Valley) and the unique Fairy Chimneys. Discover Paşabağı, Zelve Open-Air Museum, Devrent Valley, and the Three Beauties Valley. Stop in Ürgüp and Avanos to experience traditional pottery-making, and optionally visit a Turkish rug weaving workshop. Transfer to Kayseri Airport for your flight back to Istanbul, concluding your journey.
