Across the itinerary, the main sightseeing is built around Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Bosphorus, Dolmabahce Palace. Each stop is positioned within the day-by-day route so that the historical, cultural and landscape highlights remain easy to follow from one destination to the next.

Arrival in Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul! Upon arrival at the airport or cruise terminal, you’ll be greeted and transferred privately to your hotel. Check-in is available from 1:00 PM. Your personal travel consultant will meet you at the hotel to review your itinerary and answer any questions. The rest of the day is yours to relax or take a stroll around the city.
Discover Istanbul’s Old City (Private Guided Tour)
After breakfast at 10:00 AM, meet your private guide in the hotel lobby for a journey through Istanbul’s historic heart. Highlights of the day include:• The ancient Egyptian Obelisk and Serpentine Column at the Hippodrome• The Fountain of Wilhelm II• The magnificent Blue Mosque• Hagia Sophia Museum, a masterpiece from the era of Emperor Theodosius
The tour continues with a visit to Topkapi Palace, once home to the Ottoman sultans, followed by the bustling Grand Bazaar, boasting over 3,600 shops. The day wraps up around 4:00 PM with a transfer back to your hotel. Evening at leisure.
Bosphorus Cruise Tour
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before free time in the morning. Around 2:00–2:15 PM, you’ll be picked up for a private Bosphorus Cruise. Step aboard and enjoy a delicious lunch as you sail from the Golden Horn under the Galata Bridge. Pass by iconic landmarks including Dolmabahce Palace and the charming Ortaköy Mosque. Cruise along the Asian shores, marvel at the Bosphorus Bridges, and admire the Beylerbeyi Palace and the legendary Maiden’s Tower. Return to your hotel in the evening.
Departure from Istanbul
After breakfast, check out of your hotel (by 12:00 PM) and enjoy a private transfer to Istanbul Airport for your onward journey.
